*** NEW FAA STANDARD RELEASED FOR AIRFIELD SURFACE MARKINGS ***
HERE IS HOW TO COMPLY
NEW FAA BRIDGELESS “INFINITY” STENCIL Patent PendingAIRPORT Runway/Taxiway marking stencils are our specialty and our goal is always to provide you with the specific stencils you need when you need them! That is why we have responded swiftly to the FAA’s direction for “no gaps” in the painted airfield markings! Our new Patent Pending “INFINITY” stencil allows a continuous paint/bead flow on painted markings which leaves no “gaps”! The Infinity stencil will save time and money since there is no need to fill in the gaps!
Please see the FAA AC 5340-1M :
Paragraph 1.3.9 Use of Stencil Templates. All gaps created when painting surface markings using a stencil template must be filled in. For example, the surface painted holding position sign shown in Figure D-5 contains no stencil gaps. Airports certified under Part 139 must rectify any gaps during the next painting project.
